Gilded Kookaburra

The Perth Mint in Australia has been minting its popular Kookaburra coins in fine silver since 1990, but produced beautifully gilded silver Kookaburras only for a short time in the 2000s. The Perth Mint released gilded Kookaburras starting in 2004, and these were accompanied by a Kookaburra pin, and a Certificate of Authenticity. These are difficult to find, with eBay usually having very few listed. These are one ounce fine silver coins selectively gilded with gold.
