This is a one Troy ounce fine silver coin minted in PROOF Quality. The mintage is limited to 2000 and this coin comes in special Melbourne ANDA packaging. This is legal tender in Australia. This coin comes with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity. This is a great holiday gift ida, since the box can be wrapped, and many collectors did not attend the Melbourne ANDA coin show. The Perth Mint of Australia just sent out word of two new coins celebrating the birth of HRH Prince George. These coins feature the entire family, and commemorate the occasion of the birth of a new heir to the throne of the United Kingdom.
The image on both coins is the same. One coin is 1 Troy ounce of fine silver, the other is 1/4 ounce of 99.99 gold.
There are only to be 1,000 gold coins, and 10,000 silver coins available.
These coins are to be ready for shipping August 26, but to wait seriously jeopardizes your ability to purchase them. In fact, until midday August 16 AWST, there is a strict limit of two of the silver coins per member of the mint. If you are not a member, while you are on their site do fill in the form, it is free to join. Whether there will be any let after August 16 is not possible to project. These will likely have great appeal.
