Silver Eisenhower Dollars
Varieties of the Eisenhower Dollar have a 0.400 fine silver percentage, and have been issued in special packaging. They look identical, except for the edge which shows no copper color, as other Eisenhower Dollars, but are more highly reflective.
Flowing Hair Dollar and Draped Bust Dollar
The first silver dollar, the Flowing Hair Dollar, was initially minted in 1794 his dollar depicted Liberty with flowing hair on the obverse, and an eagle on the reverse. Both Liberty and the eagle changed over time. In 1795 the dollar became the Draped Bust Dollar, and in 1798 a shield was added to the eagle.
Peace Dollars
The Peace Dollar featured a new head for Liberty, still facing left. The reverse for the first time had the eagle perched with its wings closed.
These are slightly less popular than the Morgan, yet do deserve attention.
