What are the Mallard Coins? They are the first in a three coin series on ducks. These coins were issued in two styles, fine silver, sold out immediately, and base metal, about to sell out.
The fine silver coins show a pair of mallards in profile, while the base metal coins showthe ducks face on. These coins have distinct images.
We tried to obtain silver coins, but just a few days after release we were unable to get any. I called the mint and was told they were all gone.
Both versions are great as numismatic coins.
