The American Numismatic Association, ANA, will be holding its National Money Show, one of three major shows that it hosts annually, in New Orleans, Louisiana.

This show is scheduled for Thursday, May 9, through Saturday, May 11.

If you are interested in coins and visit New Orleans, whether or not it is with the show, the old New Orleans Mint is now a FREE museum.  I believe it is free to all, but do check if there is a residency requirement.

Royal Canadian Mint Coins Near Sellout

The Royal Canadian Mint has just released a message that the Mallard Coins are 86% sold out.  

What are the Mallard Coins?  They are the first in a three coin series on ducks.  These coins were issued in two styles, fine silver, sold out immediately, and base metal, about to sell out.

The fine silver coins show a pair of mallards in profile, while the base metal coins showthe ducks face on.  These coins have distinct images.

We tried to obtain silver coins, but just a few days after release we were unable to get any.  I called the mint and was told they were all gone.

Both versions are great as numismatic coins.

Coca-Cola 75th Anniversary Silver Bars

In the 1970s and 1980s, Coca-Cola celebrated its 75th anniversary of bottling its product.  This is not the 75th anniversary of the company, first came soda fountain drinks.  It is celebrating bottling Coke.  The one Troy ounce silver bars are highly collectible.  We are showing some of our current inventory here.  enjoy the images.

We also have one silver round from the same anniversary celebration.  It is slightly less than one Troy ounce fine silver.

Here is an example of one of the Donald Duck coin series.  This is a one Troy fine silver coin from Disney.  There are seven coins in this particular series.
