The third coin in the five coin Australian Megafauna Series, the Genyoris, is now available.  This series sheds light on creatures that once lived in Australia, the Genyoris being from the Pleistocene period.  Two earlier releases are still available, so completing the series is a real possibility.

This is a proof quality coin.  It is minted as a one Troy ounce fine silver coin.  Mintage is limited to 6,000.

New Silver Coins from Canada

The Royal Canadian Mint just released six new coins with a seasonal theme.

This year the snowflake coin is one ounce of fine silver with a black Swarovski snowflake shaped crystal in the center.

Perhaps the most attractive is the Holiday Wreath 1 ounce fine silver coin with multiple, colorful Swarovski crystals.

The colored 1 ounce fine silver Holiday Season with Venetian Glass Candy Cane could easily have a case made for being the most appealing to the eye.

Also available is the 1/2 ounce fine silver coin, A Partridge in a Pear Tree and the 1/2 ounce fine silver coin Holiday Candles.
