Canadian Coins Specimen and Proof Sets

If you are a collector of Canadian coins, or thinking about becoming a collector, a great way to start is with a Specimen Set, also often called an Uncirculated Coin set, or a year set.  These are uncirculated coins that are placed in a set for safe handling, and can become your quality coins for he year.  These are better than found in change coins, since they have not been subjected to wear and environmental damage.  This is the way to start coin collecting.  Or, if you prefer, move up to a proof set.  Many .collectors find owning one of each from each year a must have.
