The official release date for the William Howard Taft dollar coin by the United States Mint is July 9. These coins are already available on eBay. So, why not just buy one from the mint? You cannot buy circulation presidential coins one at a time from the mint as individual coins. The release is for dollars with P and D mint marks in rolls, bags, and boxes.

Of course, the proof coin which is out and already available certified from grading services is the more desired coin.
