The 2014 edition to the Silver niobium series of 25 Euro coins is The Dawn of a New era, (R)evolution. This is a 0.900 silver ring with a colorized niobium disk in the center. This year the center is a dark blue and green, marking the first time the Austrian Mint has used two colors n the niobium portion of a coin. The coin features a microscope, DNA and RNA among other symbols. The other side depicts evolution, from ape to man in an abbreviated sequence.
The finish on this coin is special uncirculated. It is the current edition of the Silver-Niobium Collection.
This coin comes with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity, a case and a protective sleeve.
This is a special product of Munze Osterreich, or the Austrian Mint.
Unfortunately, the Austrian Mint will not sell this coin to our United States location directly, so we do not stock it.
