World War I Centennial Commemorative Coins from Canada

The Royal Canadian Mint has released a silver $1 coin and a silver $10 coin to honor those who honorably fought World War I.


Proof Fine Silver Dollar - 100th Anniversary of the Declaration of the First World War (2014)

The $1 coin is available in both proof and and brilliant finishes.  These coins contain 23.17 grams of fine silver.  Mintage for the proof coin is 40,000, mintage for the brilliant coin is 20,000.  Both come with a serialized Certificate of Authenticity.



99.99% Pure Silver Proof Set - 100th Anniversary of the Declaration of the First World War (2014)

The same silver $1 coin is available in the silver proof set, with the exception it is selectively plated with gold.  The mintage for the proof set is set at 25,000.



1/2 oz. Fine Silver Coin - The Mobilisation of our Nation (2014)

The $10 coin is made with 1/2 ounce of 0.9999 fine silver.  This coin has a mintage of 40,000, and comes in a matte proof finish.  It is also accompanied by a serialized Certificate of Authenticity.
