The Pobjoy Mint has just released two fascinating coins celebrating the construction of the Eiffel Tower, a proof antique silver finish coin and a nickel plated with silver coin. These coins are designed to look like the Eiffel Tower.
These coins celebrate the 125th Anniversary of the completion of the Eiffel Tower. These coins are shaped like the Eiffel tower, and show great detail. They are coins of the British Virgin Islands, so the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II appears on the obverse of each coin.
Thees 2014 coins have been released by the Pobjoy Mint.
Both coins cary the denomination of $10.
The proof coin is struck from 31.1 g of 0.999 fine silver. It has a mintage limited to 5,000 pieces.
The nickel plated with silver coin is 14. grams.
