2014 Silver Coins from Austria and from Germany

Both Austria and Germany produce silver coins.  The typical denominations of silver commemorative Euros are the 10 Euro coin and the 20 Euro coin.  The 10 Euro coins are minted in more types than their 20 Euro counterparts.


The Austrian Mint has issued Prehistoric Life, a silver 20 Euro coin minted in proof condition. 50,000 of these are being released. This coin comes with a box and Certificate of Authenticity, and enclosed on a capsule.





From the Karlsruhe Mint comes the silver 10 Euro German coin, Grimm;s Tales Hansel & Gretel. This coin comes in both proof and uncirculated finishes. Mintage is 195,000 for proof, and 1,220,000 for uncirculated.
