The beautiful Maple of Peace silver hologram coin from the Royal Canadian Mint is close to selling out at the mint. The mint advised that 80% have been sold.
This 31.39 gram fine silver coin has an image of an elephant, and a holographic Maple Leaf in the center. The denomination of this coin is $15, its finished as a PROOF coin, and comes with a serialized Certificate of Authenticity. It is the fifth coin in the series. This is a low mintage coin, with mintage set at 8,888.
The 2012 coin is Maple of Good Fortune with a deer.
The 2011 coin is Maple of Happiness with a bird.
